Welcome back everybody,

First of all, my very best wishes for this new year!

I hope you all had some restful holidays and that you enjoyed quality time with your loved ones whether family or friends.

Today I would like to remind you that by Friday 12 your group is expected to send me a selection or 2 or 3 topics for our first debate on Friday 26.

I will then make the final decision asap to make sure you can start working on your topic and role and send me your main ideas and links to your sources by Tuesday 23 at the latest.

Please remember that a debate without booklet still requires some preparation work and I will expect you to send me links to articles / research papers you read to organise your research.

To finish, as I would like to use the booklet-free sessions to work on different activities that could help you throughout the year, please let me know if some of you would finally prefer to have your debate on one of the last 3 dates. I will organise accordingly but would need to be informed at least 2 weeks in advance.

Please feel free to e-mail me with any question you might have and in the meantime, I wish you a very nice day.

I look forward to more debates, activities and fun brain stimulating work with you all!

All the best for your exams.

See you on Friday 26 January @ our usual venue (!!), cheerful, rested and ready to kick the year in!

Ms AMIEL
